Jelly Roll has lost over 70 pounds Weight

Jelly Roll, real name Jason DeFord, has been open about his struggles with weight and took his health efforts seriously starting in early 2024.

In May, he appeared noticeably slimmer on the red carpet at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Jelly Roll ran his first 5K, the 2 Bears 5K in Los Angeles on May 7, which significantly contributed to his weight loss.

He reported losing between 50 to 70 pounds, though he noted he needed to double-check the exact amount.

He found the race harder than expected but was inspired by others completing personal records.

In 2016, he lost 200 pounds but regained 60 pounds in 2018 due to overeating.

In January 2024, he took a break from the internet due to weight-related bullying, which his wife, Bunnie XO, addressed emotionally.

Bunnie XO has publicly defended her husband against negative comments.
